Hairdresser in Cork for skin problems

Hi all,

I've been putting off getting my hair cut for the past year as the last time I went I felt the hairdresser was a bit unimpressed by my scalp issues (I've quite bad flare ups that get worse with shampoos and conditioners that are too harsh). While she didn't say anything the entire experience made me feel uncomfortable and thus I haven't went since.

I was just wondering if anyone would know of a hairdresser in the Cork area who caters for people with skin problems such as psoriasis. I don't mind travelling a bit if they are worth it.

I have scalp psoriasis and use the cork academy of hairdressing in cork, its a hairdresser training school, find them really good and prices are great, my advice would be to ring or call in and talk to matt (training staff) about it and see if you feel comfortable, also whenever you do find a hairdresser you may want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner with you so as to avoid any reactions to the salons own. Hope it works out for you.
