    His does.it work ?

    3 man company. They have an idea. Don't have the skills to complete it. they need 1 lad. How do they apply/what is the cost?

    The company must assign a mentor, so the mentor should have the necessary skills in the first place to help the intern to learn and gain experince.

    There is a difference between coaching and mentoring.

    So you want someone working for free to come in and be a mentor to you?

    What are you going to coach him/her in?Are their soccer skills not good enough?Maybe their golf swing needs a look at?

    See this is the kind of crap this scheme has spawned. I'd say 90% of the time there is no proper 'mentoring' involved. But there is never any checks done on this whatsoever.

    OP, Jobbridge is for people who are looking to gain skills to help them achieve employment, not for companies who want to avoid paying for things they need for the business but can't do themselves.

    If the scheme can be used like this it will make skills and training worthless. The sad thing is that this would totally be allowed, we've all seen the ridiculous adverts.
