    Hi all,

I've been playing with the idea of selling my modern BMW 320d for a classic alfa. It's just something that I want to get out of my system. Just wondering if anyone is aware of any Alfa GT Juniors / GTVs in the country? I'd like to see one in the flesh first and try one out before I go any further

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated too.

    Thanks

    Barry

If you are in Dublin this weekend, go along to the RDS ,the alfa club are there.

    also head over to http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/republic-of-ireland/

PS. A 'sound' GT or GTV will set you back 10-15k

There's a 74 (? ) custard color South African spec one floating around Dublin 2/8.

Would you consider a much more modern "classic" Alfa? Like a Busso engined 90s GTV? Superb car with the best engine Alfa made in many, many decades. Much easier to keep compared to the 70s cars you mention too...

thanks for the replies guys. I did go to the show over the weekend. Not too many alfas though... although a particular lancia delta integrale did make up for it. I saw one of those alfas for sale on boards a good while back. It was actually in Kerry. It would have been idea for me. It wasn't mint but it was perfect for what I would want it for. Went for reasonable money too.

At the moment I wouldn't... I just have it in the head to go for the 70's era model. We've had alfas in the family in the past so I think that's why i probably want to go back a bit

Go to the TI Autos trackday at Mondello on the 9th of May. TI Autos themselves have a few of these, and older. They were at the show in the RDS with a GTV6 and a Duetto Spyder. Or ring them 01 8386567
