Hi all just have a query about a new boiler we recently got installed, wondering should I have the temperature up to max to heat the house faster and have it on for less time, I currently have it set half ways and have it on an hour at a time. Would it be morearrow-10x10.png efficient to have it on full blast? confused.png

Lower the better (within reason) as will work harder in condensing mode with lower return temperature

the less you have to heat the water the less oil you will need to use.
around 60 c is what you need when heating domestic hot water to prevent legionella growing. not easy to set on the scale on the grant boilers.

generally if your want/require lower temperature for your heating a thermostatic mixing valve can be used.
