reps 4 teagasc contract

not sure if this has been covered before, basically am in last year of reps, teagasc contract is 750 yo yos annually for very little that i can see other than a record sheet completed with stock numbers, fertilizer and concentrates used. have a very simple plan so its not rocket science.

all this i could more than now do myself. am i required to have a planner assigned to the contract or can i ditch them for the last year.

have no fault with the guy but i don't get the value from that kind of payment.

also, has teagasc ever reduced their charges for anybody after haggling with them.

I gave an independent 350 for reps sheets, also sfp application and had nitrates & chemical usage returns after a inspection

we didn't do sheets for the year and he doesn't request them,

in the event of an inspection up to 5 months after, you have 2 weeks to return the sheets so only do them in that event.

daylight robbery, with ind guy who was one of the temp lads let off from teagasc a few yrs ago, he drew up my plan before he was let go and i followed him when he set up on his own, since then service from him has improved vastly (cant beat a lad working for himself) and his fee is much less than teagasc
