Hope it's 10-12 rather than 9. Don't want the Ray Foley show to lose an hour.

It's not even a secret that they are going to 98, and it's the midmorning slot, 10 onwards, they won't affect Ray Foley. Barry Dunne will lose out, but he might gain an hour into Dermot and Dave....

Are they still going to stick with Late Night Talk when Adrian and Jeremy start?

Small fish in what sense, like a bigger potential audience compared to the later shift at 104 and more competitors?

Housewives/husbands.... and junkies always seem to be up really early on the bus too.

The new schedule layout will see Barry Dunne and Dermot & Dave losing an hour each from their shows... although IMHO, they should have just dumped Seacrest.

The new daily schedule looks like this:

    6-10am Ray Foley Show
10am-12pm Dublin Talks with Adrian & Jeremy
    12-4pm Barry Dunne
    4-7pm Dermot & Dave
    7-9pm Muireann O'Connell
    9-10pm Ryan Seacrest
    10pm-midnight Dublin Talks (Replay/Update)

Also, AK & JD are going on 98FM at 9pm tonight with a one-off special... should be interesting!

Whatever about the show, but their jingles are woeful. Absolutely head-wrecking!

Really? Had you not noticed him in 98FM's schedule already? He's been there for months now...

At least they're cutting him down to just 1 hour

Great, hadn't heard about that. I must say I really enjoyed the phoneshow, well the first hour and a half, I used record it on my phone and listen back on the train the next day. Unfortunately the bits I most enjoyed are the bits that they wouldn't be allowed air on daytime so I hope it works out

Yep, I agree. I thought the jingles were a joke the first time I heard them. I don't really understand the need for sung jingles on a talk show?! - But we'll see how they fit in to the show as a whole.

I think they should maybe have kicked Ryan Seacrest and replaced him with non-stop music (non-stop request/classic hits hour). I do enjoy Muireann O'Connell and I have to admit that I will miss the current 'Late Night Talk' show on 98. I think Muireann and Michelle Beatty are really good presenters and work very well together. I wonder what the format of Michelle's new show will be like (will there be a co-host?) and will it be a music/talk magazine-style show.

I'd imagine it'll be a music and talk mix, rather than just strictly talk only - isn't that what they're doing at the moment on Late Night Talk?

Possibly it'll have an "Inbox"/Last Word style reaction to the news of the day type element to it too.

And yes - best of luck to the ladies in their new timeslot!

oh no, the new AK & JD show sounds exactly like the old post 10:30 bit on 104 that I used to turn off...

Got better after 11:30 when they were done with the "serious" discussion of the day. Back to form

I hope they bring back random radio, I used to get a luagh of the guy who used ring in and hum the theme tune to it :D

yeah, there was another guy who just kept saying "Hello, hello"! Few of the old regular callers back today though could have done without hearing from them ever again
