I'm flying from Oklahoma to Shannon via O'Hare with United in May.

I've just received a schedule change for the OKC-ORD leg with the transfer time shortened to 52 mins.

    UA3757 3:23 p.m.
    Fri., May. 30, 2014
Oklahoma City, OK (OKC) 5:23 p.m.
    Fri., May. 30, 2014
    Chicago, IL (ORD - O'Hare)

Flight UA 3757 is operated by Mesa Airlines dba United Express.

    UA66 6:15 p.m.
    Fri., May. 30, 2014
    Chicago, IL (ORD - O'Hare) 7:35 a.m.
    Sat., May. 31, 2014
    Shannon, Ireland (SNN)

Is this transfer time reasonable for evening time (assuming inbound leg is on time) at ORD?

If the airline sent you the changed schedule and its all on one ticket then it should be fine and if not the airline will take responsibility.

I'm guessing that the transfer is all in Terminal 1 in ORD so you won't have to re-clear security. It's a big enough terminal, but it doesn't take too long to get from one part to another.

I know the SNN flt. departs from Terminal 1 but not yet sure if the OKC-ORD flt arrives at the same terminal. If it does, I'm not too worried. Did this flight a few times before but not with such tight transfer time.

A few weeks ago I was flying home Cleveland-O'Hare-Dublin on a United ticket (but on EI to Dub).

Schedule was arrive 17:15 Terminal 1, depart 19:15 Terminal 5.

    Actual was as follows:
    Landed 17:36.
Waited for 10 mins just off runway as gate occupied.
Taxied to gate but further 5 mins wait for marshaller.
Got off plane at 18:05. Still ok, or so I thought.

Only way to T5 is to exit T1 and take Skytrain. Got on train to hear announcement "All trains stopped due to stranded train." Now I'm getting worried. 25 mins delay before train departed.
I arrive at T5 at 18:55...still having to collect boarding pass and clear security.
Ei Check-in desk closed but managed to get boarding pass from them.
Got marshalled through security and got a lift on a buggy to Gate. Arrived at 19:10. Flight departed on time at 19:15.
    Close one.

So even to get from T1 to T5 (which is a few kms away on the train) should have been easily doable within the 2 hours I had brakes on to brakes off. It'd just that it seemed several forces were working together to try to get in my way.

That list is untrustably out of date. Contintental, Northwest, Ted, USA3000 - at least 5 years old.
