Hi all

Having a problem with the car..if I turn the foglamps on I cannot turn them off without switching off the ignition. Also the cruise control is not working..but no error messages appear on the MFD. Any ideas?

Sounds like comms 2000 unit is up to its usual tricks. Dealer wants moon money for them but can be got on ebay for about €200 ish new. A few places repair them if you can afford to have it off the road for a while. Some places will send you a re-furbished one and refund you a certain amount if you send them back the busted one.

The unit itself is behind the steering wheel and houses all the indicator and light stalks and cruise stalks. Its easy enough change just pull the wheel off.

Theres a few different makes and each has their own faults. Search peugeotforums.co.uk for more info. If you log onto peugeot service box and enter your vin, you'll be able to get the exact p/n in your car.

Avoid 2nd hand, get refurbished by reputable supplier or new!

Don't worry. You are not alone.
Half of Irish motorists must have the same problem.
