    Hi i am wondering whether to do the ecdl course. Is it difficult and worth doing? And also i am not sure of what exactly i will be learning. Any tips guys

    It's mostly basic stuff. Simple opening emails, excel files, word docs, how to browse the net, shut down the PC. that kind of thing. If you've used a PC for a few minutes and are competent at it you'll breeze through the course.

    Search the older threads on this topic. The general consensus seems to be that it's so basic and outdated, having it on your CV makes you look like you're incompetent enough to have to it. If you're just doing it to educate yourself, YouTube has a million tutorials on how to use each Outlook programme in detail, and Microsoft have some courses too.

    Its practically worthless.

    List your experience on your c.v without it like excel, word, outlook, access etc.
