Payslip Problem

    Yeah, I don't know the password to my payslip, Just started off it's my first one. I got emailed it and it's password protected. My employer never told me the password. Is a combination of my PPS number and Date of Birth or something? Your help would be greatly appreciated as I don't really want to unnecessarily ring up my boss.

    This is quite a common approach for emailed payslips, means your pay details aren't visbile to email sniffers and the like.

    You may get a 2nd email soon with your password in it (that's how my current gig did it).

    Or you may need to approach your HR people to get it.

    Maybe ask one of your colleagues how they found out their payslip password.

    PDF password protection is almost useless.
