    Strongly considering running this race.
Anybody have any experience of it?
    Good/bad opinions?

Do you have a link to the race anywhere, can't seem to find anything about it online?

Always good to see a new race , especially a 10 miler.
Fingers crossed for a flat elevation profile !!

Edit..just found this link to registration for it

Not on facebook myself so maybe there's additional info on the race such as the course info?

Not too many boardsies doin this I guess?
Fits nicely into my training plan for the CorkCity1/2M, along with
The Castle Island 10mile on the 11th May.
I copied the route into mapmyrun from John Desmonds plan
so we can get an idea of the course elevation.
Looks like a 2.5mile pull to the 6 mile mark and then its all
downhill really. Looking forward to it now.
It would be great if the weather was like this weekends(fingers crossed).

Hopefully the weathers going to hold now for Monday, what a week !
Have heard/ received nothing since I entered online, so I'm guessing
I have to pick up my no.& chip at registration. Should be there in plenty
of time so not panicking. Bringing the family down for a day out & looking forward to some
Guinness, mussels and black pudding after the event...just love Clonakilty.

That was extremely hilly, painfully windy and very, very difficult. The winner ran 1:01 and is normally a 56 minute man according to a guy I spoke to after the race.

Very well organised though. Marshals were excellent and the spread afterwards was huge. Great value for €15. Well done to all involved.

Agree about the wind alright, was gusty in places. I was expecting the hill & wasn't going for a pb so it didn't effect me too much. Kept up a 7min/mile pace and came in at 69.30 so very happy with it. Stewards and grub were great. Coulda done with water between 5&6 miles as it was a very warm day once we turned inland. Will defo be back to do it justice next year!
Well done CRR for organising a great 10miler !
