    Please tell me how to stop popups.. driving me crazy. I have Avast antivirus but this only started happening recently.

    Frequent pop ups could be the result of a malware, spyware infection. Run ADWCleaner and see if it picks anything up!

    Installed any free software lately? Some downloads come with things you didn't ask for if you don't uncheck some boxes. E.g. Adobe Flash will install Chrome. Often toolbars and search engines and home pages are modified. Check the list of installed programs.
