cant find a few stations with walker receiver

    i found most of em but cant get the

    CBS,s
    true movies

    i have a walker receiver

    i changed the transponder settings to

    11344/27500/h

    but it says no signal WTF i had CBS running yesterday on a televes receiver

    According to KingOfSat 11344/27500/H and 11344/27500/V are on Eutelsat, the weaker satellite. It may be that the dish is slightly off alignment and not getting a good enough signal. The Televes box might be better than the Walker at handling weak signals. Was the Televes you tried on the same cable?

    Curiously, while channel surfing this morning (11-ish) I can't get Showcase+1 also on 11344/27500/H but no problem with CBS's

    yep its the exact same cable

    the tvtrade.ie website I think said its on astra 2 that video was last year I think has it changed:confused:


    in your opinion guys wats the best seorview combo box?
    this one will do for the kitchen but im thinking of going for another one for the main room

    Confusingly there are 4 satellites in the same part of the sky that a standard dish points to. Astra 2A, Astra 2E and Astra 2F are at 28.2°E and Eutelsat 28A is slightly further over at 28.5°E. The Eutelsat tends to have the lesser channels and is slightly weaker. If a dish is a small bit off alignment it may not get enough signal from 28.5°

    i tried again the box has astra and eutelsat in the same option when i change the transponders it just shows no signal bars :(
