I have found Magnesium to be very good. It helps relax the muscles. Vitamin D also helps, but best to get a blood test to see if you are deficient. Many people with Fibro are deficient in Vitamin D.

Hi, I have come across these natural products that has been used successfully in the US and here to threat this condition and indeed others also. they are based on 100% natural ingredients from berry's and greens produced in their natural environment with out any contact with chemicals like fertilizer, herbicide etc. the products are called Pro Argi 9, mistify and Phytolife indeed I use them myself to prevent high blood pressure and strengthen the immune system

    Hi,
I have Fibro and Psoriatic Arthritis and recently started taking Vitamin D3 5,000 iu on the advice of a friend who is a neurologist. Apparently it is supposed to help with pain and fatigue. I'm only on it 2 weeks so far, and having a flare up at the mo, so don't really notice any difference. It should kick in after a month or so if its going to work and he said to get a blood test done every 6 months to monitor levels in blood.
I know of a 2 people with MS who are taking it, and both found it helped with fatigue, so fingers and toes crossed it helps.

Will wait and see over the next month and will post a reply,

tried for years every supplement there was and no improvement.

wasted a deal of money so abandoned that idea!

just a balanced diet with some pleasure built into it, rather than letting these diseases take over every part of your life and robbing of all enjoyment
i know folk with food fads...sugar they say is evil...eat green banana, etc etc..they look miserable.

unless you have other issues nothing to gain by giving up dairy, caffeine etc.

a multivit with minerals will cover any real deficiency. tesco have a good one at reasonable cost.

I tried a copper bracelet, it was working well but I had a bad reaction to it. I have seen a lot of people talking about ginseng helping their energy levels and my doctor recommended B vitamins to help boost mine.

Magnesium particularly at night really helps, but go for Magnesium Citrate, its absorbed faster.. It makes a big difference to sleep.
Similarly Vitamin B helps a lot also.

As mentioned above Vitamin D for me has made a huge difference, I would recommend the vitamin D oral spray, you can find it in Holland and Barrett it is absorbed sublingually, don't take it in the evening though as it can interfere with your cortisol levels... Morning time is best.
