Wiper linkage

I need to get a wiper linkage for an 08 Astra OPC (wiper making a clanging/bang noise when it comes down near the bonnet) dealer prices are ridiculous €500 new, I was told by my mechanic. my question is will the wiper linkage from an ordinary Astra (maybe in a scrapyard) fit my car and what kind of price would they be.

Can't see how the OPC would have a different linkage to a regular 3 door.

You can get linkage repair kits on ebay.

I expect linkage is the same as regular Astra. Repair kit or breakers yard, If breakers yard have a good look at your linkage before accepting one at the breakers to ensure they are the same. No need to spend hundreds on this.
