Such a shame. Proved at Ascot he was as good as any still. I hope his training carear is even more of a success

Nearly missed this! Have to say I am gutted as he was one of my favourite jockey's last year. At least he went out last year on a high, some of the rides he produced were surely the best of his career.

World Class. Deserves more responses than on here so far.

Brilliant jockey, some of his best rides came in the past couple of seasons and he looked just as good if not better than when riding all them top horses for Coolmore.

The lack of responses here probably comes because of the timing and the Cheltenham festival.

Should have won on Golden Cross at that festival too a few yrs ago!

thought the ride on dancing rain the haggas horse a few years ago in the oaks was an absolute cracker from the front, good jockey but wont exactly be shedding any tears over his retirement, the sport goes on.

Wish him all the best in his retirement.

Memory that comes to mind for me is Peeping Fawn amongst the many many great victories he has had on various great horses!
