Hey Folks. I am off on a business trip to Beijing next week. Flying with BA and in just the normal economy class. From looking around it seems I will be flying in the B777-200 from LHR to Beijing. Does anyone have any experience of this flight? Is there personal screens that allow you to choose what you want to watch or is the same thing shown on all screens. Would it be a good idea to bring an IPad with my own stuff? Suggestions would be great :-)

You will be on the 777 for sure. BA38 if memory serves correct.

The 777 is slighter fresher in cabin than their 747.

Standard inflight entertainment that you would expect, Each seat has it's own in flight entertainment system etc. I always bring my IPad on long haul flights regardless as I like the bigger screen!

It's a long flight so keep yourself occupied, especially the return leg which is longer. BA are great though, they're my preferred airline anytime I travel, especially long haul.

My tip to anyone who flies long haul is to invest in decent noise cancelling headphones. It's a worthwhile investment. I use Bose QC3. Expensive but worth it

    Enjoy your trip!
