Would it be possible to set up a trend to swap and/or sell products and equipment ?

I reckon that for items for sale you would have to use adverts or done deal and maybe could be allowed to post a link to the item.

The swap idea is pretty good,

There is a similar setup over on the Facial Hair & Hats forum, Stumbled on it recently, and it mainly deals with traditional style razors.

I actually think its something that would be popular with detailing folk as there are some similarities in attention to detail and variety of products etc.

Who is the MOD, maybe he/she could shed light on this.

A detailing products swap or sell thread is probably niche enough to work, would be worth making a few good points about why it would work and would be useful to the community, the sort of things that should and should not be allowed etc, then ask for a 3 month trial.

You may be asking a moderator/s who is/are not familiar with detailing to make a call on something they do not have much of an interest in.

If you put the effort into making it easy to do it rather than put the work onto someone else who may be busy, there is a greater chance of success.:)

This is a great idea - I've loads of stuff that's fine, I just went off for some reason - would be happy to swap for something new.
