    Hi guys,

Iv decided to shell out on paying to watch the Formula 1, rather than stream from the unreliable free stream sites.

However Im finding it hard to see which is the most cost effective way.

I know Setanta offers it for 19.99 a month, however I need to be with Eircom, sky or UPC for that. Im with none of them.

Sky wants over 40 euro a month in order for me to stream this online.

Its important that its an online stream I get as I work weekends.

Lastly having checked out TV NOW, they want 17euro for a day access!! thats over 75 euro for one weekend of formula 1!

    Any suggestions appreciated!

Also My apologies if this is in the wrong section!!

I use an existing SKY system with the free to air channels, its only online with catch up TV I use.

That Free to Air option sounds plausible, is that receivable with an existing Sky dish, or would I need to get a dedicated option for that?

existing sky dish will do but will have to be aligned astra 19.2 with a new sat receiver.

the fact that you have a sky dish does that mean you have a sky box? if so a stand alone setanta sub will suffice you don't have to be a sky subscriber

have you checked how many races are on the BBC this year?

    Thanks for the reply again,

Oh wow so yes I have the Full SKY plus HD box and all, that means I can get Setanta without a Sky subscription? Not very clear on Setantas behalf is thats the case!

Yeah they have 50% of the races this year, Im a fanatic the past few years with all these changes going on so I need to pay towards it now, rather than having 30 pages of adverts before watching a bad stream.
