    Hi Macscoob
Would need more information. What exactly has to done? Looking at your thread looks like: Take off old skirting -- lift old floor ( is it nailed glued or stuck down. Is the replacement to go on concrete-- joists? ) + underlay. Then refit new skirting and make good. Would I be on the right line.
    Whats wrong with old floor???

Hi north west, We got a great deal on some oak flooring& underlay so want to change what there( we dont like whats there and it has scorch marks on it). Its going onto concrete floor and the old flooring im told it was clipped down. And your on the right line with the skirting

    Hi
Sounds like the floor was there is a junckers floor clip system. Are you going to any of the work or do you want it all done by somebody. Ok take it you it all done.

take off old skirting and refit new € 5.50 per linear meter
take up old floor and underlay € 7.50 per sq meter
Refit new u/lay and selected flooring approx € 17.50 per sq meter
Fit new door saddle if required € 12.00 per door
fit Radiator covers to floor € 5.00 per pair
Fit cover strip if requied at door € 9.50 per door
This will give a rough idea of cost ( Labour only on all above )
    NW

These prices would be close to going rate at moment. anyboby much cheaper watch out and anyone very much dearer Get Bargaining.

Northwest -is €17.50/m2 for underlay and fit a bit expensive?. I recently got a quote from a flooring shop, which worked out at €8/m2 (fitting 18mm engineered, glued t+g, floating on 3mm standard underlay). The quote was based on the fact that I was buying 50 m2 off them.
I realise that your quote was for hardwood, rather than engineered.

Taking up the floor can be done yourself and you'd save over €150 based on the above figures.

By radiator covers I assume you mean the plastic clip on discs to cover the pipes., that take approx 5secs to fit.

    Hi
wayoutwest is right I put in a wrong figure. It should read € 12.50. Sorry about that.
    Laminate fit € 8.00 sq m
    Engineered € 10.00
    Solid € 12.50
