downloading podcasts

    hi,wondering/hoping that someone can help,im trying to download newstalk podcasts(sad)but they require an i tunes account,any way round this?i have a pc ,windows vista,no prob with rte radio podcasts,thanks.

    podcasts are itunes podcasts, so you'd probably need the direct rss link. I havent tried this, but if you put the itunes link into http://itunes.so-nik.com/ it should give you the direct rss feed for the original downloads.

    Its a handy podcatcher that you can search for feeds via.

    Seems you have it working now but if you want you can just google the rss feed of whatever is you want, so "Food on Moncrieff RSS Feed" should get a result, open the page and you can see the episodes, then right click on a link and "Save as" and it will download as an mp3 to your computer. http://www.newstalk.ie/content/001/podcastFeeds/168.xml that's the Football Show one as an example.
