Can people please post how long they get from their battery in the new macbook pro retina, I just bought a 13inch one, i think I'm getting around 6 hours out of it, but it says 9 in the specs, should I be getting more?

Depends on your usage. Lower the brightness, uninstall Flash, use Safari instead of Firefox/Chrome and quit apps when you aren't using them.

Actually, it says "Up to 9 hours" in the specs...

I'm typing this post on one now - I generally get 6-7 hours out of it with a few applications running in the background. If you want longer, shout down anythign you're not using - applications, services such as bluetooth, wifi if you're not browsing the internet, uninstall flash, turn off keyboard lighting, dim the screen, etc....

Dont use Safari until Apple pushes a fix for the SSL bug.
