Girlfriend considering buying a 2008 Fabia 1.2 5 door hatchback. Low miles.

Anyone know what their like for selling on again?

I imagine the should be a good small car.

They seem to attract a pretty good resale value, broadly similar to their sister car the Polo.

Its a crowded segment though, but the fabia rates well enough.

As a former owner, we liked them.

You can't really buy a car based on the potential resale value. Depends how long you keep it, how its serviced etc. Nothing to say it won't cost you an arm and a leg in repairs & service, destroying any resale value / profit. Or on the flip side, it could become a golden goose if the tax system changed and you could attract a premium. But no matter what, your going to make a financial loss. However if money isn't the issue, should be easy to sell in no time with the right price.
