    Need some advice here guys,

Uncle has Got an case international 956xl, had a bad blow in the engine and was hard to start, he was using easy start to fire her up, now wont start at all even using the Easy start.

Anyone know roughly what it would cost to do up this engine, cost of parts, labour etc

    thanks

your talking 2to 3k depending on what is wrong and how much machine work is needed - parts are not cheap for case

actually while your on the subject of this, what kind of comeback would you have in the event of this happening, ive seen holes to come into pistons before (not sparex now tbf) after less than 100 hours
this was on a standred injection engine not commonrail

there should be come back all tho I imagine they would want to look at the engine maybe take oil samples from engine depending on how much money is involved. but I know clutches are no comeback

it was on a old bulldozer, now it would have been worked hard alright,it seemed to melt/burn hole into piston just around middle...I don't know what came of it the end tbh
