Im stuck between getting an r9 280x or a gtx 770.

Heres the main part of the rest of my build:

    AMD FX-8350
    Asus m5a97 Evo r2.0
    8gb Kingston HyperX blu 1600mhz ddr3 cl9

The Pc will be for gaming and streaming.

Im new to pc building so all help would be appreciated!
    Thanks

    I'd go for the 280x.

Generally lower prices, slightly better performance and an extra 1gb of ram.

The same reason the 7970 was better than the 680 gtx.

Unless there's some specific Nvidia feature you want.

The giga one is good. I'd go for the MSI gaming if it's available though. Stock levels for 280x's are terrible at the moment though.

770 is not a bad card by any means. And nvidia shadow play is good tool for getting all your mutiplayer action recorded before it even happens, without major fps hits.

But r9 280x has the bigger ram. So getting more for your Money. Is just more sensible.
