I've seen 2 posts from you and I was just wondering what stage you are at with Truck Driving. As in the other you suggest you're doing the Theory soon, is that for Artic

Am I right in saying then you don't have a truck licence at the moment

Change came at the beginning of 2013 when lorries and car trailers had to carry a specific load for test, the next change in June 2014 includes trucks must be box type with Tachograph, Abs and 8 forward gears.

Just on update on this, learner permit got and passed, first driver cpc booked for Tuesday have to book it through the same place as where I booked doing the theory as I don't have an acquired cpc rights and have to earn it through a few tests 72 euro for 1,2,4and 5, 3 is 38 through a test centre as it I need to walk around the truck for it.
Had my first lesson this evening and got on great tester wreckns 2 more lessons and a pre test and should be flying it then for the real test.
All in I wreckn the licence will cost between about 1200 and 1500 on the road, expensive but hopefully it pays off.

Still a bit confused by your posts.
If you have a theory passed then you need:
    Multiple choice questions €72 Prometric
    Cas studies questions €72 Prometric
    Driving test €120 RSA
    Cpc practical €32 rsa
