Hey lads,I was going to buy a SR25 and upgrade the balls out of it but I had another idea,iv seen a few players at night games with night vision goggles/monacles. Infact one player allowed me to use their pair whilst they had a break,I have to say I found it to be an absolute game changer!
I would love a NVG but all the ones on ebay seem to be basic eye piece ones or pretty badly reviewed ones.
I am looking for something that I can mount to my helmet, also It would be great to have one that had the Green output (Found it much better than the grey)
Willing to pay up to 800 euros for one.
Anyone know a good place to get one?
    Thanks in advance :)

Just my two cents here but 800euro for something that you will use from time to time unless every game you attend is in the night time.

Now don't get me wrong NV is pretty cool but I'd rather a new weapon where I know I could use everytime I have a skirmish rather than something I will use from time to time. The point am making is think very long and hard before you buy these, am not even sure if these things have ballastic rated lenses most of the ones I see are not military spec and just for spotting.

    + 1 on southern quote.

Better off trying the low end stuff from likes of aldi or lidl.

Not great by no means but no point in spending money on something you will use rarely as SD mentioned.

You could make your own for far cheaper but it's alot of hassale and not as tidy as the lower end one's.

Even the ones on ebay are probably no better than gen 1 tubes or the Russian equivalent. True gen2 tubes are still viciously expensive and what is badged as gen2 you will have no way of verifying without quite a lot of experience with them. I'm currently privileged to have access to Gen3s but I'd never get away with borrowing a set! I agree with dandy. Save your cash and try the civvy Aldi scopes. Much better value for what you want. Spend the balance on a nice tracer unit and a decent light.

Of course you could go mad and get a Pulsar N770 eBay item no 181335225525. And it's legal to mount on an airsoft gun as it does not fall under the definition of a firearm. Now that would rock.

Illegal to possess a NV scope without a firearms licence and the proper authorisation from your super which allows you to possess it. Same situation with suppressors.

Define scope. Perfectly legal to own a monocle.

A telescopic scope designed to attach to a firearm. The Pulsar you suggested for instance.

The monocles you buy in Lidl etc. are handheld, they're not designed to not attach to a firearm. You can tape it down to an airsoft gun if you wish.
