Recommend RGI for Boiler Service

Hope it's ok to ask for this.

Need a recommendation for an RGI (and associated cost) in the Dublin 6 area to perform a gas boiler service.

Boiler is a Potterton Performa System HE boiler around 12 years old and is wall mounted. Don't know its service history, but it's been working perfectly until recently.

Of late, there is no problem when heating water only, but when heating water + rads the pressure climbs into the red zone after 20 mins or so. I usually shut it off before it gets to the stage where the PRV will pop.

I suspect the expansion vessel either needs to be repressurised or replaced so I would require this to be checked during the service (I understand that a lot of people don't do this, but I need it done).

Reply via PM if it is not allowed to list names publicly.

    Thanks in advance
    /Bazmo

Shane0007, johnniek, dgobs all cover parts of Dublin. Which parts I'm not sure. PM them and one is sure to help you

FYI I don't cover South Dublin, think JK does, Shane would be a bit far away unless he's up in the area at that time.

Checking the expansion should be part of any normal service.

I am looking for an RGI in the Stillorgan area. Appreciate a PM for anyone interested. Boiler is a Baxi and there is a problem I think with the condensate trap ( periodic leak ) boiler is operating fine .

Yeah, I'm in that area a few times a week but would have to have notice. John would be an excellent service man also.
