    Kempton 3:50

I’ve missed some better prices earlier this week on Tour des Champs but now that its nrnb and the field has broken up somewhat he still looks great value at 12/1. I was on him last time out in the Welsh National but he hit the 4th fence and was never travelling after that. Before that this horse has put in a string of very decent performances off marks in the 130’s and I think he looks thrown in here of 127 with only 10.01 on his back. He will be getting at least 5lbs from the field and is still a relatively unexposed 7yo in this type of race. Weight could well be a huge factor here in what will be a slog and the race just looks poorer than it should be for the money on offer.

    2 Points win 12/1 Various

I see Urban is on as well and i can see this one going off around the 6/1 mark here.

Where does he talk? He used to give a few decent ones in the Sunday times but hasn't done much good, tipping wise, in that column for a long time

He gave Our Island for the Eider and I can'#t remember the other one. Irish horse for Sunday I think.

He's on the racing show on Newstalk Mondays and Thursdays at around 8.45

Our Island is ready to strike soon I'm shocked they backed him last time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Junior run well tomorrow he ran very well last time out

Saturday. Boggy ground. Big handicap. Are we not ignoring the obvious V Williams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,370 ✭✭✭rossom

I've been keeping my eye on Junior for a while with regards to Cheltenham and see he's entered in the Kim Muir again. Has ran very credibly on his last 2 starts falling 3lb in the process and if he drops another 2-3lb if he runs poorly in the Eider he could have a big chance off 142/143.

Pipe will surely look to call on the services of J J Codd again if going the Kim Muir route as he partnered him when sauntering to success in the corresponding contest in 2011.

Took an each way chance on him tomorrow at 20s

    4:30 Newcastle

Gansey looks to have been ruled out too quickly by the market after this poor run last time. He won this race of this mark 2 years ago after a similar poor run and actually has had pretty decent form this season especially in his 2 previous runs of this mark and with the step down in class here on a course he has form on him being the 12/1 outsider of the field looks a bit silly.

    1 Point win 12/1 Bet365

The 6/4 on Mount Benbulben is so enticing, for all his jumping errors he's a class above the field. Fool me once..

I was looking at Safran De Cotte in this but pricewise has ruined the price on him unfortunately and I’m not sure he’d be value at 10/1. Looking at the rest of the field for value Seven Woods looks an ideal type for this race, he certainly looks as if the step up in trip will suit him judging by his runs this year. He looks a real stayer in the making on his run behind HandsupforDetroit at Chepstow. He has some decent novice form and apart from his poor run over hurdles latest (which looks a clue to this being his target) he has been knocking at the door this year, in my mind looking for this trip. 18/1 looks a nice price and worthy of a small bet.

    1 Point win 18/1 Lads/vic/James/365

Alex Hammond has him as the bet of the day the dream is over.

If anybody fancies taking on Irving SkyBet are money back if Irving wins. Might chance a bet on First Mohican.

Alex tipped up a winner yesterday albeit odds on. I had to quadruple check she must have put up the wrong horse by accident

I can see irvings bubble being burst today. I personally think he's overrated and also first Mohican..I may eat my words later but I'm going to give Dubai prince ew

Even if he wins today I can't see him figuring in te supreme.

Whatever about the supreme he should be able to put away this lot today. Mohican has a high head carriage, might have wind problems.

I like the look of cup final wasnt fair off irving last time and made mistakes could be a nice one.

There is a horse running in the 16.10 at Chepstow(2m handicap chase) called Hectors House, saw him last time when he fell at the 2nd last going fairly well when he fell, wasnt sure if the jockey done a Sean Fox or just couldn't sit on a wicked stool.

Got a different lad on today who claims 7lb so he is back to 9lb9 and has been backed fro 14s in to 7s,any views?

Apologies if this is the wrong thread.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Irving put up a very impressive performance today given that Kempton's flat track should be ideal for him.

Wouldn't go near him for the Supreme though.
