Investing in Grain?

The Ukraine is slipping into full civil war and it is one of the biggest grain and cereal producers in the world. Grain prices will skyrocket if the conflict spreads across the country and this represents an opportunity to to make profit I believe.

This is probably going to get me a ban or whatever but Jesus f*cking Christ. Why don't you invest in body bags while you're at it seeing as their going to be in short supply over there also. You'd make a killing from the killing.

Do you put petrol in your car from middle eastern countries with horrific human rights records? Buy your missus a diamond from war torn African country? Use a smart phone manufactured in a Asian using questionable labour practices? Wear clothes manufactured in bangladesh by a pregnant woman on a few cents an hour?

The worlds a nasty place, having a go at someone considering investing in a commodity because of changing events in world politics is a bit much, particularly as you yourself most like benefit from a lot of nasty practices in other parts of the world

Sorry, maybe after watching the clip of a sniper picking off people one by one as they huddle for cover, and then coming on here and seeing a post with the words 'full scale civil war' and 'chance to turn a profit' just set me off.

I made some nice money invest in a corn ETF two summers ago off the back of the sever drought in the usa , be carefull however , those commodities are extremely volatile and manipulated , volume traded is relatively small
