You will get away with up to 100 but go over it and be prepared for a cross compliance inspection

cant check online. Agfood only allow ya access your herd.
didn't ever try ringing but you would do well to get them to check 10-20 tags for you overphone i would imagine. The cards are pretty useless. Not filled in half the time.

Aye, remember buying blks once, wasn't minding the day I bought how many owners were on them, I was kind of shocked when I seen I was the 6th owner when I was selling, no signiture on back except mine

It's just sumthing simple in this day and age we should have access to. Put tag number in and movements pop up. B&b or owner to owner. All the bs from bord bia and factory's and private sales getting more popular it's sumthing that we should have.

Does the number of movements that comes up on the board in the mart not usually be correct?

Yea that's usually correct, unless a dealer never sent off movement forms and is selling under the old owners name in order to secure a better price because it's a 'farmers animal'

I used to complete a few herd books in the marts, just look up the final destinations on the system (usually factories) and fill in the details.

If you're friendly with anyone in a mart office you can get them to check out the movements for you.
