Hot press over door finish

I've recently had the hot press doors/frames changed to whats shown in the attached photo, however I am debating on how to finish the bit left above the doors.

The frames and doors are white oak.

I am thinking of sliding doors made from oak lam mdf or would I be better of going with two hinged doors instead?

Sourcing oak laminate mdf is proving difficult atm.

Any suggestions welcome, thanks in advance.

Only way to go is two matching hinged doors so that they will match up in the centre and at the sides otherwise it will look odd
