I applied for top-slicing refund and through the paye anytime tab online i see the status is correspondence assigned. Does any-one know how long will i have to wait for the refund.

Impossible to say - the person it's assigned to could have any number of workitems assigned to them to be worked ahead of your claim. Could be less than a week, or it could be a month to 6 weeks.
