    Russian protest group Pussy Riot have been beaten with horsewhips by Cossacks who are helping patrol Sochi during the Winter Olympics.
    Footage shows members of the band, which became famous after performing a protest song in a church against President Vladimir Putin, being beaten.
    Police questioned witnesses, but no-one was arrested.

    They really have it in for that group!

    Very tough cops/meneen in a uniform. What sort of man beats a girl with a whip? Shows the utter contempt the populace are held in by Russian authorities. I've seen little better done right here in Holy Ireland though, again, by great lads in uniforms. Does a Police uniform bring out the inner cnut or does there need to be a cnut in there to begin with?
