Juveniles in Clubs

    Hi All,

I have a 6 year old daughter expressing an interest in Athletics, I want to strike while the iron is hot and get her down to a club. Just wondering what the kids at that age would be doing in a club, bit of running, jumping, general play? I'm assuming focus is on fun at that age, not running laps?

Based in Swords / Malahide area, so any recommendations for club is welcome. Her older cousin is in a club in Lusk, this sparked the the interest. Would prefer a club closer to home though.

Anyone with info on the kids setup in Portmarnock AC?

    Thanks!

Portmarnock have a large juvenile section as far as I can see, and they seem to have a 'nursery' section for 6 and 7 year olds

Their web site appears to have been built by a graphic designer (words? who needs words?) but if you squint at that registration form you can make out a contact email address
