Right we are heading to Tasmania for a week in April. Coincides with a work thing so are staying in Hobart for 5 nights then flying out of Launceston 3 nights later.

Any suggestions for things to do in Hobart and Launceston ( bearing in mind we'll have 2 kids aged 5 and 3 with us!). Also any recommendations on a route between the two- what to see, where to stay...

    Thanks

the boags brewery in launceston is a must, not sure what you'll do with the kids, could bring them i suppose!!

i am not into museums and am the least arty fcuker around, but a few friends have been to this recently, https://www.mona.net.au/. it sounded really good.

not sure how you are getting around, but wineglass bay is really nice, and relatively easy access if your pulling a few kids around.

Im sure the kids would love the Cadbury factory in Hobart. They do a tour during the week, not open Sat and Sun.

Mona is really good. Not sure how the kids would like it though.

Tasmazia and the village of lower crackpot near cradle mountain would be good for the kids. About an hours drive from launceston.
