Hello there. I have been googling extensively and I am still stumped at the best way to get to Knock Airport from Dublin City Centre. Anyone done this trip and have any advice?

I have to be in Knock for 3-3:45 on Friday afternoon.

    Thanks for any assistance :)

The number 20 leaving Dublin at 9am

A second alternative is the 22 (Ballina Bus) at 10:00 from Busaras to Charlestown (arriving there at 13:35), and then taking the 64 (towards Galway) at 14:45, arriving at Knock Airport at 14:50.

Or just get a taxi from Charlestown!

The insane option that'd get you there with plenty of time would be to fly via Gatwick; however you'd need to be booking well in advance for that to make pricing sense.

There are lots of options, but they invariably involve a change somewhere.

Put your exact locations and relevant dates and times into www.a-b.ie and tweak the settings. Select "take neighbouring stops into account for origin and destination maximum 20 min walk" (or whatever number of minutes you are willing to walk - will you have luggage?).

Ensure that you have adequate transfer times.

If he was to taxi it from Charlestown, OP could also get the 12:45 Westport train to Ballyhaunis and a cab from there. It would give him back most of his morning and cut out some hanging around the airport but it won't be as cheap as the bus option.

Surely catching the 64 bus in Claremorris would make better sense then in Galway? Train to Claremorris, bus to airport? Might even be a private local service in the area although I can't see one mentioned on the Konck airprt website.

    This too shall pass.

Might get the direct bus from Dublin at 9AM. If I miss it, will leave at 10 and change over from Charlestown.

Cheers for the help mates :)

The 9am bus requires a change at Athlone.
