unlocked note 3 4.4 upgrade

    lads,

    i bought a locked note 3 from Three as part of my upgrade, however, after a few weeks the phone just died on me.

    no biggy, i sent the phone back to Samsung and low and behold, they sent me a brand new one, plus its unlocked.

    Here's the snag. at the minute Three are rolling out their upgrades on the Note 3 to enable them to get onto the 4g network.

    I was told by a 3 rep on this forum that because mine is unlocked, i actually wont be getting the upgrade from 3, but instead have to wait longer for the official one from Samsung?

    Is this true, or is there somewhere i can download it?

    Any help would be fantastic

    not 100% sure, but if you plug it into your machine with Kies installed, i would guess it would install from the Samsung site.
    surprised that it's not 4G compatible anyway
