This seems to be a good deal for €420? The i7 seems to be fastest round for that price.

    Thanks for any feedback

Not bad for the price. 3rd gen i7 and no USB 3.0 only 'negatives' (as well as questionable Acer build quality/reliability)

Seems out of stock everywhere. Looked a decent value laptop.

I managed to pick up one and am pleased, the Windows Experience Index rates 7.7 for CPU and high values across the index. upgraded to W8.1, all well.
However one issue, when setting up I had to use my hotmail credentials as a log in procedure. So my email address pops up requesting password when I log in. I wish to change this to a more discreet user name & password but don't know how. thoughts welcome

Yeh, I emailed them. They said they're not getting any more stock in. Guess I'll keep looking around for a decently priced laptop.
