Ok, the title is majorly exaggerated. Anyway the floor carpet got two holes in it at the weekend, from high heels. Any suggestions on how to fix it. If all fails mammy said she would sew it, :P but I know that won't be strong enough.
    Any advice appreciated guys, cheers!

You're probably better off in Detailing than with us greasemonkeys but yeah, there is something you buy and stick underneath. As long as no material is missing it'll bring it back as new.

New car mats - if ye cant see it, its not there!! :D

Failing that, perhaps a good condition 2nd hand carpet might be available from a breakers - bit of work involved there though!

Its in two spots that mats won't cover. Jaysus changing the carpet is a major job! I'm sure there's some sort of thing that will stick it back together again. There's no carpet missing, it's just a cut.

I replaced a carpet once....once. Wont be doing it again(unless its for myself). Talk about a pain in the ass.

Yeah it can be a bit of a night mare job, but if it was my car, I wouldnt be able to deal with the holes! ;)
Especially if you could get a really fresh carpet, it makes a world of difference to the interior....assuming that its had lots of wear and tear!

Carpet's in mint condition only for them two bits. Wouldn't a new carpet include the front aswell? (around the driver and passenger footwells)

Put a bit of carpet tape behind it

Put a bit of same colour carpet in the hole and stick the current to the patch, stick another piece in if it's not level enough and again stick the pieces together and it shouldn't be at all noticeable, it's how we repaired seats with small damage and it worked out good enough that when the annual fire inspection was due they gave the ok for the patched seats to remain in place.
