my sister bought a iphone 4 on o2 uk network from her friend who had been using it on the o2 network.
but her friend is not the original owner of the iphone 4,so we are wondering how can she get it unlocked.

we seen some folk advertising iphone 4 unlocks for 60 euros, and other for 40 euros etc, this seems like a rip off.

I do understand we probably will have to pay to get it unlocked, but surely it does,nt cost the above quoted prices?.
any help would be very appreciated, thanks.

Are you sure it's locked? I taught locked to uk O2 would not work on O2 here but maybe so.

€40 is about the price, go onto ebay and search iphone O2 uk unlock and pick a seller with good feedback.

There was a post here a week ago where someone said they got an iPhone unlocked for around €12. O2 uk will do it if you can get a uk sim with £15 credit

Not if the eBay option turns out to be scam.
