Financial support for studying abroad

    Hi,

I'm due to study in Canada during the upcoming semester (September - December 2014), and I am just wondering if anyone knows of any organisation, etc, where some sore of financial support might be secured?
I know that if you chose to study in Europe you get an erasmus grant, but there isn't one for studying in the states, Canada, etc. (which I knew at the time of my application).
However, I've been trying to do some budgeting and any kind of financial support would be really beneficial, it's already looking like I'll have to take out a hefty enough loan.

    Any help much appreciated!

I'm not aware of anything but some of the links here might be useful

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
