I know Boards and Adverts.ie are linked and I wish to speak to a person about upgrading my account. So I clicked contact us and got the whole 9 yards but no phone number ? WTF ? I just need a phone number. Am I missing something ?

Uh, no, I am not a moderator of the AH forum and I post here just as anyone else who isn't a AH moderator. I tried to help you, that's all. I have neither an "inside track" nor am I passing the buck.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Glad someone provided you with the phone number although you would've probably come across it if you had been more diligent in your online searches.

dont know if this is right post, but got burned today on adverts. bought a ps4 controller from a lad and when i got home, realised its busted. obviously devastated but also annoyed theres most likely nothing i can do. ive tried contacting him but doubt ill get any response there. all i can do is report him to adverts but again, their powers would be limited. just wanted to share and see if anyone has had the same experience, going forward i guess id set up the sale so the item can be tested or something? anyway, cheers

You would be surprised. I bought a games console from someone that had a problem and he was more then happy to replace it for me. But he was a reputable seller with decent feedback.
If he does not respond then best you can do is report him and hope for the best.
