What does Neil himself say about it!?. Everything i read its x,y,z is lobbying that Seery deserves his chance. Would like to hear anything Seery himself has to say!?

Im going and this just made it even better.

I'm going. The gf got me tickets a week or so ago out of the blue. She even bought them knowing that she'd end up going with me. Dont think she's ever watched a ppv with me before.

I'm kind of in a bit of a bind (not really!) with who I really want to win. Of course I want Seery to win. Would be a phenomenal win for an Irishman in the octagon but I love watching Brad Pickett. Something really exciting about his fights. Of course I'll be supporting Seery.

The card isn't the best but this addition has made it just that little bit tastier.

I doubt you will get very high odds on this. Pickett is likely to be an overwhelming favourite I would say. Good luck to Seery but he has his work cut out for him in this one.

Brave considering Seery has never been rocked, knocked down or knocked out.

Just been announced that UFC London will be shown on terrestrial TV, channel 5 instead of BT Sports.

Do we get channel 5 on Irish Sky??? I remember when TUF was on Channel 5USA we got shafted.

If anyone has Sky but doesn't know how to get Channel 5, here's how:

Go to "Services", then "System Set Up". Then go to "Add Channels".

    The frequency is:

    10.964
    H
    22000
    5/6

    Definite?

Because adding 5 as an "other channel" isn't much good, can't record them.

The next best guy would be Cage Warriors guy. Likely?
Just as long as they never ever go with Cage Contender guy...

It'll be Joe Martinez from the WEC i'd say (Which I just remembered is the same guy)

Announced last week it'll be Andy Frilander for all Eurpean; Middle East and African events AFAIK; here he is doing a bit of footy

Also John Godden and Dan Hardy on commentary. Couldn't believe the amount of **** John got on here last time off the Rogan fan boys. Chap knows more about European MMA then Rogan and Goldie could ever imagine.

If I recall rightly, it was a 4 fight deal. Looking for the link now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,323 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

I don't think it matters. Every UFC deal is effectively a 1 fight deal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,549 ✭✭✭✭cowzerp

It's a 4 fight deal, most likely he will be on the Dublin show win or lose, if he wins 1 or the 2 it will continue, if not-then not likely.

Fair play either way, and Neil will give it his all either way.

Was Tom Egan ? I think he only ever fought on the Dublin card

Kurt Holobaugh. He fought at short notice on the UFC 159 card, put on a great show in exchange for $6,000, lost by decision and was cut, I thought it was unfair to him because he is a good fighter.

Wonder if Seery has packed in his factory job now that the UFC have signed him up. Will be interesting to see what kind of pay he's on. Anyone know what he was getting per fight as CW champ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,604 ✭✭✭dave1982

Anyone know what fights we can expect to see on channel 5, I know it starts at 9 but how much of the main card will be shown by then.I'm guessing we wil see maybe 3 fights?

Holobaugh from what I know had one fight left on his SF Deal and then they were bought by the UFC. Making his 1 fight in the UFC his last fight for them?

Will confirm but also thought Egan retired after UFC 93 and moved away to boston. (I know he is back fighting now)

That's not really the point. The point is, even if he signed a 4 fight deal or a 40 fight deal, he can get cut after 1 fight and there's nothing he can do about it!

I'm think I read during the week that it's only the co-main and main and then they'll show highlights of the other fights that night. If you're on twitter https://twitter.com/JeevanSD_MMA this man will know

Seery is now 5.65/1 in places. I agree that he's the outsider but these odds are just too high to overlook, Pickett is good but I can't see how he can be such a strong favourite.
