Hi guys, I'm trying to sort the boiler pressure on my Baxi 35/80, it's literally reading 0. But I can't find any help online for this specific model, can anyone here help? Took a few shots of what I'm looking at, I assume the middle pipe is the gas intake anyway! Please help!

Can you take a few pictures of the pipwork around the hot water cylinder in the hot-press, most likely the filler is in there.

Open the red handled valve in pic 2, the shower pump should kick in & the pressure will go up on the boiler. Turn off the valve when the pressure is at 1 bar.

Nothing happened when I opened that?

Open the valve and see if you hear any water filling in.If no water fills the problem is more than likely the non return valve is stuck or the red wheel valve is fecked

The non return valve under the valve might be stuck closed.
    This might work..
Open the red valve (anti clockwise) and leave fully open.
Turn on the nearest bathroom cold water tap fully, then close it to a trickle enough to keep the pump running. The excess pressure may push the non return valve open. Keep a watch on the boiler pressure at the same time.

That hasn't worked either. It might be worth noting that valve only opens about half a turn, is that right? Thanks for the help so far.

EDIT: Silly question but should I have the system on or off? I'm assuming off so far.

I have a problem now in that I can't turn the system on because I get the low pressure light blinking. Anything else I can try here?

The valve may be stuck. Try open with more force, anti clockwise. If it starts to open, close it back a bit, open a bit more, close a bit, open more, close. Can help the valve from seizing.

Red valve needs to go more than a quarter turn. Its stuck, but stuck fully open or fully closed we cannot say from here. (Most likely its fully closed)

    Edit:
Sorry Spire, didn't see your post.

Gentlemen and scholars! It just needed a bit of coaxing indeed, the pump came on straight away then. Brought the pressure up to 1, bled the rads again, it was back down to 0.5 ish so I opened the valve again up to 1.1 ish. Then turned on the system and it jumped to 1.4, sitting at just under 1.5 now steadily for 5 minutes. I assume that's normal? Thanks a million to ye!
