    the big tree guarding the 13th green in Druids Heath was lost,for those who've played there it's the short dog leg right after the index 1.

    That made the hole , I think, Well some would argue it was too close to pin.

    They say Ivy does no harm.

    yeah when the pin was back left you would have to lay up shorter to get the best angle,but defo looks very bare now

    Played Kilkenny this morning. Very surreal. Some of holes that had tree lined fairways are just gone!
    Toilet on the 9th tee box was surrounded & enclosed by trees is now free standing without a tree around it. How it survived I do not know.
    12th probably hit worse. Spinney protecting the green completely gone & nearly every tree on the left side of the fairway gone too.

    Upside, not one green was touched & they are playing extremely fast as usual. Course staff worked wonders & the course is in great nick. A lot of new bunkers already on their way. New trees planted & more to be.
