Rte player wont go fullscreen via a laptop to hdmi TV???

    A firend has moved house from 24mb to 2.55mb, they are sorry now but for some reason they can play RTE player fullscreen on laptop but when connected to TV via HDMI it wont play in fullscreen.

    It did play ok when getting 24mb.

    I dont use RTE player but intrigued with its little foibles.

    Is there a workaround for this?? They rely on rte player a lot!!

    I would doubt that the ability to go full-screen has to do with the decrease in speed.

    I would suspect it is an Adobe Flash issue assuming they are using a browser to access RTE Player.

    I would uninstall the flash plugin and reinstall, or try and disable hardware acceleration in the flash settings.

    Apologies if the solution has already been attempted.
