flat roof repair

Can anyone advise as to which product to use to repair my flat roof bearing in mind that I collect water from it and have been known to drink the water?

I have a feeling that any bituminous based product could contaminate the water and so am thinking along the lines of a final topcoat (on top of the mastic/bitumen product) with some kind of a solar reflective paint (which is probably a good idea in itself).

Are those paints non toxic ?

I think you can get acrylic based waterproofing paints as well.Would they be non toxic?
