    What do you guys think of my attempt at the solution to the problem below? Have I gone about this the correct way? Cheers!


    Use the Weiss Zone Law to determine a vector which lies along the line of intersection of the (221) and (122) planes.


    hU+kV+lW=0
    2U+2V+1W=0 eqn(1) 1U+1V+2W=0 eqn(2)
    1W=(-2U-2V)

    Sub into eqn (2)

    1U+1V+2(-2U-2v)=0
    1U+V-4U-4V=0
    -3U-3V=0
    3U+3V=0
    U=-V

    1U+1V+2w=0 eqn(2)
    -V+1V+2W=0
    2W=0
    W=0V

    V=V

    [1 1 0]
