PS3 Multiplayer Games?

    I love playing local multiplayer (Splitscreen) and new to playstation moved from xbox due to them going downhill IMO

    Can anyone recommend any good splitscreen games on the PS3

    Trine 2, Portal 2, Diablo 3, Borderlands (1&2), LBP (1&2), Resi 5 (and 6 but it's crap), the LEGO games, Rayman (Origins and Legends), Resistance 3, Rainbow Six Vegas (1&2), Castle Crashers, Dead Nation, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Fat Princess, PS All-Stars

    They are the ones I can think of.

    It is far better than the second one and on par with the first. Solid 7/8 out of 10 games IMO.

    Dragon's Crown isn't split screen but it's an absolute blast in 2-4 player.

    I picked it up yesterday but didn't get the time to play it but seen some videos on it and have to say it looks pretty good. I got resistance 3, Lara Croft and Soul Caliber V all for only €20 in gamestop i must say i taught that was a good deal as the resistance is the special edition with all the content too.

    Ah yes, but this is what the OP wants, local multiplayer.

    I wonder are the Motorstorm apocalypse servers still going, probably since its a much newer game.

    It`s set in the city with natural disasters occuring. It caused controversy as it was delayed around the same time as the Japan Tsunami and Nuclear Meltdown.

    Split Second has a local two player via split screen. It's an arcade racer that underneath the flash surroundings plays kind of like a karting racer sine you use power ups to cause explosions and create havoc so the cars ahead of you get stopped in their tracis and you gain a position. It's a few years old but pretty good if you can get for a fiver or less. Big downside is you have to play the campaign to unlock cars and tracks for the multiplayer unless you buy the dlc.
